PLATANAR VOLCANO
This is the perfect introduction to the volcanoes of Costa Rica, it is an easy hike with a breathtaking summit. This volcano is also know as “Howler Summit”, since there is an abundance of this monkey species. The volcano has altitud of 2.183 meters above sea level, and it is a 10 km /6.2 mile hike.
Difficulty level: easy

TENORIO VOLCANO
This volcano is composed of four volcanic peaks & two twin craters; it is part of the Guanacaste Mountain Range. During the hike you will feel and see the magical tropical rainforest and cloudy forest. It is a more challenging hike, but the view is worth the effort. The summit is at the elevation of 1.916 metes above sea level, and the trail is of 13 km/8 miles total.

MIRAVALLES VOLCANO
If you are an experienced hiker, you must conquer this summit. It is the highest volcano of Guanacaste, during this hike you will gain an elevation of 1.618 meters to reach a final altitud of 2.021 meters above sea level. The distance is 15 km / 9.3 miles of strenuous hiking in the deep tropical forest of Costa Rica, but when you reach the summit, every step is worth the view. And the best part is that when we arrive back, you will get the chance to relax your muscles in some magnificent hot springs. What else can you ask to life?
